Lately I’ve been trying to get back in to the ‘artsy’ mood and I really want to start up a new blog dedicated to it. After chatting with a few other artist friends of mine, I’ve come to the conclusion about what to do.

It’s not just about my art, it more than that. Its about everyone’s art, the art of the people for the people, inspired by other people. Sort-of.

Here is rough draft of the premise and a layout of principles.: The Communal Art Society

There are a few main artist, with different styles and backgrounds, who contribute to the group.  -Because, lets face it, not everybody’s art is amazing-

We want to provide an opportunity to have good artist get their stuff out there, and get known, but also be there to serve the community of art lovers.

People can submit their art work to be featured and will be chosen on a few different criteria.

         -when chosen they will have their works featured, with backgrounds on each pieces, history of the artist, ( a small profile), retarded Q&A’s , etc.

Viewers can comment on the pieces, and get in touch with the artist

If a viewer like a certain piece or style of a particular artist , then that viewer can request a personal piece from that artist for a ‘donation’( ie. Buy The Artist A Beer, coffee, pack of smokes… etc.) , or can do so by trading ‘kudos’ with the artist  or -feature their work on their sites or anything to get their work published else where … etc. -

so , these are just some running ideas that we have going on,

im already talking to a few artist who want to joint and are helping get the site set-up.
